The FairAI4EdTech team will be at the 15th Learning Analytics and Knowledge conference (LAK25) in Dublin, Ireland in March 2025. LAK25 is the premier conference of Learning Analytics, organized by the Society for Learning Analytics Research (SoLAR) with Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin). LAK25 is a collaborative effort by researchers and practitioners to share the most rigorous cutting-edge work in learning analytics gathered to discuss this year’s theme Expanding the Horizons of Learning Analytics.

Our team will be part of the 2nd Workshop on Challenges and Opportunities of Learning Analytics Adoption in Higher Education (https://sites.google.com/view/lak25adoptionworkshop/home) and Prof Miriam Fernandez will be presenting on Monday 4th a talk about “Responsible AI in Practice: A Responsible AI Framework for Learning Analytics in Higher Education” featuring the work developed as part of the Fairness Innovation Challenge and Fair AI for Education.

The team will be sharing details of the FIC project during this event and gathering feedback from experts in the field of Learning Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Responsible AI.
