Professor Miriam Fernandez (Principal Investigator) participated at the in-person event for Learner and Discovery Services (LDS) at the Open University.
Professor Fernandez took the stage last Wednesday 23 of October to share how AI has been used as pivotal tool for the development of the awarded OUAnalyse platform, and how it is helping to reduce the award gap at the OU while engaging with fellow researchers. It was an opportunity to share insights and latest outcomes of the Promoting Equity in HE project.
The event was organised by the Learner and Discovery Services Unit to discuss ‘AI in education’. The event, held at The Open University Library (MK campus), provided an opportunity for staff to connect, and present a showcase of LDS’ work and contribution.
